This week Lesson 11 started out talking about deductive reasoning and seemed extra hard to get into. But it ended inviting us to sit with this compelling statement from the Bible in Mark 11-24. I wonder how I could have heard this ALL MY LIFE and not really had it soak in as far as it’s soaking in now. Maybe it hasn’t soaked in for you either?
Don’t get me wrong. I’ve always believed in the power of prayer and have always believed prayer is answered by a loving Creator who knows what’s best for us and when. But now I see that Mark heard Jesus saying four things. Desire WHATSOEVER. (Lesson 11 emphasizes that WHATSOEVER.) Then ask and believe. Then receive. Look at all these versions. No matter how it’s translated for us down the years, the message is the same! I invite you to read the verse over and over in all its nuances in the different translations. In the Master Key Experience I have certainly learned that repetition is invaluable when you want mind mastery.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Because of this I say to you, all things whatever praying, you also ask, believe that you receive, and it will be to you.
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Therefore I tell you, everything you pray and ask for–believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
Everything you ask for in prayer will be yours, if you only have faith.
For this reason I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.
Holman Christian Standard Bible
Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for–believe that you have received them, and you will have them.
International Standard Version
That is why I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.
For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
For this reason I say to you, all the things that you ask when you are praying, believe that you will receive them, and they shall be given to you.
Aramaic Bible in Plain English
“Therefore I say to you, that everything that you pray and ask, believe that you are receiving it and you shall have it.”
That’s why I tell you to have faith that you have already received whatever you pray for, and it will be yours.
“Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.
Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you shall have them.
Therefore I say to you, What things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.
Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Therefore I say unto you, all things, whatsoever you ask when ye pray, believe that you shall receive; and they shall come unto you.
For this reason I say to you, All things whatsoever ye pray for and ask, believe that ye receive it, and it shall come to pass for you.
Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye have received them, and ye shall have them.
Therefore I say to you, Whatever things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
That is why I tell you, as to whatever you pray and make request for, if you believe that you have received it it shall be yours.
Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
Because of this I say to you, all whatever — praying — ye do ask, believe that ye receive, and it shall be to you.
Mark 11:34
What I’m learning in the MKE is that emotion is key to the intensity of the desire, to the asking, to the believing–in order to receive! And I’m hearing incident after incidents among the Master Mind participants that this works!
Believe!
Yes, Roz! I’m so eager to do better and better myself at energizing BELIEF–and to help others do it, too.
It sounds so simple, doesn’t it, Roz? But it’s a verb and that means taking action!
Shirley, good for you for realizing EMOTION is the key. From your blog rover friend John.
I love this Shirley
I love that quotation Shirley
Believe and you will receive Shirley great post
Hi Shirley! That is powerful to read through those! Thanks for three experience :-D!
(er…the experience i mean)
Glad you found the experience powerful, too, MK. Repetition, repetition, repetition…right?
Thanks for the comment, Darcy. Two unique actions, both necessary, right? 🙂
Connie, me, too! And now I’m seeing it everywhere!
Thanks, Rover John! I’m a blue, so all-over-the-place emotional. But I’m finding the key is to focus the emotion just as we focus the thought. Good a-ha.
